i never used to wear gloves until i had an over the bars incident & ripped both my palms open & they took a long time to heal up, now i always wear gloves. just remember that your hands always go out first when you have an off so they should be protected. think about it. 
haha we have a gondola up our local hill but unfortunately not for mtb use, damn tourists! you realise the video has been sped up dood?
